Strong for the Region: Partnership with TSV Merching
Two partners, one region, one common goal: In Merching, the FORUM MEDIA GROUP and the town’s largest sports club will join forces in the future. Both look back on decades of tradition and are firmly rooted in the region. The new partnership represents a shared commitment aimed at sustainably promoting the development of young people and their families in the local community.
An Investment in the Region’s Future
Through its financial support of TSV Merching, the FORUM MEDIA GROUP is actively strengthening its commitment to the region: “Supporting the club’s valuable youth programs is an investment in the future of our region,” says CFO Katrin Krauß-Herkert. Supporting young talent is a particular priority for the medium-sized group of companies, which has been active in the region since 1988. This is evidenced by the diverse collaborations that FORUM continuously maintains with schools, training centers, cultural organizations, and other local partners. In addition to supporting the Merching sports club, joint initiatives are also planned for the future, from which FORUM employees and their families can directly benefit. The new partnership is intended to be characterized by a lively and literally “active” exchange to strengthen the sense of regional community.
TSV Merching also welcomes the collaboration: “With the FORUM MEDIA GROUP, we have a new, strong partner at our side. This collaboration marks an important step for the club’s further development,” emphasizes TSV board member Robin Mendel. With around 800 members, TSV Merching is the largest local sports club. It looks back on a 77-year history and many successes, including the promotion of its first soccer team to the Augsburg District League.
