Continuing growth for the FORUM MEDIA GROUP: The international media group has taken over the Slovak professional publishing company EUROSTAV, based in Bratislava. The portfolio of the family business includes market-leading B2B magazines, books and events for the architecture and construction branches.

EUROSTAV is maintained as an independent publishing company within the FORUM MEDIA GROUP. The owner, Gabriel Blaškovič, handed over the management to Eva Chválová, Managing Director of the Czech FORUM subsidiary Nakladatelstvi FORUM s.r.o. (Prague).

“When succeeding an established family-run enterprise, the FORUM MEDIA GROUP primarily acts as a business developer, enabling the company to achieve sustainable growth and development opportunities within the media group," FMG Managing Director Mihaela Mravlje says. "EUROSTAV is a solid and profitable professional publisher, whose strong brands perfectly complement our construction portfolio."

In June, FMG bought the Spanish publishing house "Editorial Juridica Sepín". Since May, the leading US magazine for veterinarians, "Veterinary Practice News", belongs to the FMG. In April, the FMG owned publishing company DoldeMedien (Stuttgart) expanded its special interest portfolio by acquiring "RUNNING - Das Laufmagazin". In March 2018, the FORUM acquired the majority of Lighthouse Independent Media, based in Singapore and Hong Kong.
