The FORUM MEDIA GROUP has recently expanded its core business in information, education and entertainment through new investments in established education and media players. Successful acquisitions in Germany (DoldeMedien), the UK, Australia, Canada, Hungary, Poland, and the Netherlands were completed. Below you will find a short selection of examples.


BCMStrategic Partnership with BCM (Netherlands)



In 2016, the FORUM MEDIA GROUP acquired a major shareholding in the leading Dutch magazine publisher BCM.

Business in the Netherlands will continue in its existing form; former BCM CEO Eric Bruger will continue his management role. The BCM group, founded in 1975, is a family-run media company headquartered in Eindhoven with an annual turnover of more than 8-million euros. BCM is an independent company within the FORUM MEDIA GROUP. The BCM portfolio is outdoor/leisure, animals, and music.

RTA kleinFORUM MEDIA GROUP acquires British Training Agency RTA



With the acquisition of the Taunton, UK-based Regional Training Agency RTA in June 2015 the FORUM MEDIA GROUP strengthened its commitment in the UK education market. RTA is a leading training provider for the English school system and offers day seminars on everyday issues of school staff.

KenilworthCanadian publisher Kenilworth goes FORUM



In April 2014 the FORUM MEDIA GROUP acquired the Canadian media company Kenilworth (founded in 1988). With around 40 employees Kenilworth publishes a broad range of B2B and B2C magazines for the construction industry, the signage industry, the Pool & Spa segment and other industries. Kenilworth is publisher of leading magazines in Canada and in the USA.


Nextmedia 4th largest Australian magazine publisher is new member of the FORUM MEDIA Family


Since October 2013, the Australian Nextmedia Group with a portfolio of more than 40 leading magazines, books and digital offers has been a member of the FORUM MEDIA GROUP. 

Magdalena Balanicka, Member of the FORUM MEDIA GROUP director’s board said: “We deeply trust in the experience of the managers and the employees of Nextmedia.” After the acquisition the management as well as the complete Nextmedia staff remained on board.

Nextmedia was founded by the merger of three special interest magazine publishers and further purchases of titles and licenses. The group´s portfolio contains lifestyle, technology, and sports media as well as magazines for children and motorsport fans. With shows and events like "Upgrade Australia" and the "CRN Fast 50", Nextmedia is one of the market leaders in the IT and technology segment.
