Erfolgreiche Spendensammlung für die Alzheimer-Forschung
Six female colleagues and one male colleague contributed to a fundraising campaign for Alzheimer’s research with their outstanding athletic performances. From September 26 to October 10, 2025, our employees took part in the virtual “CIM med Charity Run” – not only racking up kilometers, but also doing good!
Aim of the campaign
A few weeks ago, we sent out a call to our employees to participate in a charity run organized by CIM med, a manufacturer of support systems for the healthcare sector. The charity run was organized to benefit Alzheimer’s research (or another non-profit organization). For every kilometer run or walked, CIM med donated €5 to one of the two organizations – including Alzheimer Forschung Initiative e.V., which has been committed to researching and finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease for over 30 years. One of our employees learned about the campaign.
As part of our social commitment, we were happy to support the initiative by forwarding the appeal to our employees and offering to cover the registration fees for our employees.
Results
Seven employees responded to the call for donations and ran a total of almost 100 km. Together with the entry fee, they raised €525 in donations. In total, 3,229 km were completed and €16,146 donated to Alzheimer’s research. In addition to the registration fee, FORUM donated a further €150 to the initiative to support the tremendous commitment of its employees.
